Who are the Not Real Radio Enjoyers of Earth? "Not Real Radio Enjoyers" started as a joke among some friends after we were repeatedly dismissed by other hams for using "not real radio" modes like FT8. We're now a club for anyone who enjoys digital modes! We have no geographical boundaries, so we are of Earth, as it were. We collect no dues. We simply exist to promote amateur radio in a way that's shunned by gatekeepers.

We will never have a presence on corporate social platforms. The spirit of amateur radio is free, open source, and cooperative, and we strive to communicate that way online as well.

Why does your site look like it was written 30 years ago? Because I got fed up trying to make a decent website in WordPress or any other template-based site builder. Also, a basic HTML/CSS website works better across platforms and even works with ancient machines. The web has become a wasteland of bloat and rot. Let this site be a safe haven from it.

But why is your site black with white and amber text? Because I have to look at this site far more than anyone else, and I can't stand white backgrounds.
